The Golden Age of Illustration has come and gone; however Illustration is far from being a lost art. There is something so special about illustration, it evokes a response and has the potential to stir up emotions, maybe even tap into something deeper within all of us. We tell stories in our compositions, breathing life into words and hiding secrets in details. That's what I love about being an Illustrator. (And I can draw disgustingly cute things all the time.)
